hmmmm ... new musings

what's goin on with me, well I've got a new 'friend', dealing with old ones, ones of ones, and all that fun ... I did happen to meet someone over the weekend, his name is Byron, he's 42 (gasp, I know 18 whole years older than me, but it honestly was no biggie) ... I did call him today, we talked for maybe 20-25 mins, and we might do something on Tuesday, but who knows .... again I fail to hold my breath ... the early game report makes him out to be nice, with no major issues or the like, but that's why the scouting continues

friends - well I may have one in over his head, trying new stuff ... so I'll be big brother over that one

well it's really been a whole day of tangent thinking, or weekend for that matter .....

1) piosity (hey IT'S my word): there's just too much of the damn shit I say .... people get on their moral high horses on things, when they themselves are doing something on par or maybe worse ... which kinda got me thinking of something from my youth group days .... basically the whole crux of it was that there was no "scoring system" for sinning ... that murder had the same weight as lying and so on and so on. I had just seen/heard too much of it this weekend so it was pervasive on my mind.

2) another favorite subject: the big L word .... I get SO SICK AND TIRED of hearing these little 19-20 y/o bitch about how they're never gonna fall in love, get a boyfriend, excedrin, excedrin .... I'm sure this has been reiterated like 63,523 times before but now I'm a believer .... I guess it just happens, you really don't even need to strategize, to publicize and say you're looking for a boyfriend, or do the reverse-psychology fall into your lap theory, the I'm kinda looking but NOT REALLY looking thing ... I'm just doin it all at once *lol* ... so could you stop freakin whining and get on with life, it just might happen, or you might be 24 and single like me ... as for the so called games, that just equates to simple fear ... and that's all there is to it. I'm not too sure if I'm ready for a full fledged relationship as is, I guess I want to live life ... and anyways it's been a year since the whole David thing so I'm being all retrospective about it

....it will truly go down as one of the most interesting nights of my life ....we might have lost an hour, but it was MORE than made up for..... anyways work was nothin to crow about, I got there at 12 (oversleep, doh) survived til 8, chilled .... watched the Final 4 (LOVED the Zona final score) ...

and then out ... well at Complex I ran into Rich, who in turn ran into Bradley and two of his friends .... this is where the circus begins .... usually Rich needs to get a lil liqured up to start dancing so he did .... 2 sex on the beaches later he was ready to go .... so anyways he's buzzing and asks me to drive "Baby" to Faces .... I donno how much Rich cherishes that car but if he really does NYEH! I got to drive it .... one thing about Plex tho ... they were playing a lot of good stuff ....

so anyways, Faces .... we get there about 1, and right off the bat, there's good stuff ... we had to dance to LeAnn Rimes "Can't Fight The Moonlight" (even with an empty floor) tradition, that was the first song Rich danced to ... so I went to the DJ booth to talk to Danny Morris, and Rich goes up to see the drag show with Bradley and friends, well while I'm conversing and dancing Rich is getting TRASHED ... so I got up to the cabaret, and damn was he loud .... Petrina Marie was like SHUT UP .... so back to the dance floor for me, eventually the others make it down and Rich is lookin Major (Parker) fucked ... and then not too much longer after that Bradley and the group leave ... this turn of events kinda angered me, especially when Rich started taking a turn for the worse, it was like they pretty much abandoned him ... so a good night is starting to get spoiled

and then ... the turnaround ... with Rich being broke, I was the nice friend and got him the bottled water, which he REALLY needed ...after a while, he jumps in the cage like the last hour and a half never happened, at this time I was still kinda worried about him ... but then it just gets more and more interesting ... all of the sudden a belt is unbuckled ... and then pants go down, then the back end of underwear is goin down .... someones got a BARE ASS, and he doesn't care .... the next hour and a half he is all over that bar dancing, shakin the ass .... net result $25 and a 6-month Rant and Rave Card ... Rich may have gotten sober, but that didn't stop his dancing (which has to be a first) .... I'm sure he will explain it a lot better than I did for details go to http://www.richmissey.com/journal and you'll read his story

my take on the whole thing .... when I got home for some reason I felt like a proud parent ... when I first met him he was a lot different, and I've seen him change in the last 3 months, my little blossoming flower *lol* ... but really, I think he did learn a lot from this night and it will be one that we talk about for a long time

there was a bit of bad news tho ... our friend Kevin's car was broken into and most of his stuff was taken .... we found that out on the drive back to drop me off .... but in it's own way it was fitting that it happened that night

Ah well, a night out with the Angels, er Devils, Rich's spirits went up as we went East Side, he WAS seemin kinda bitter at Faces .... and Princess, well she was like a kid at a candy store ... she forgets that we ARE in St. Louis. She was all out in full force, with the glowsticks *lol*, all in all it was a fun night.

Then there was work - I spent half the night dribbling a basketball ... talk about busy :) In 5 hours I had FOUR tables, of course one of them was 21 girls on a softball team (FREAKIN WHEE) ... so at 10:15 I pulled shade and left, anyways I might hear something about that when I go in at 11, but o well.

Who knows what tomorrow may lie in store, Kevin told me to call him, since him and Rich are going to Attitudes, then maybe Complex, but definitely Faces, it depends on when I get outta work I guess, which I'm hopin 5, anyways I must get SOME sleep tonight .... zzzzzzzz

on being hungover ... am I supposed to have music playing loud and dancing around the house while being in this state, Mark and Justin should not complain hearing my Anastacia vs. SM Trax - I'm Outta Love vs. Got the Groove (#3 song of 2000) really loud, since they can be just as loud *grin* and it's 3:45 anyways (in the afternoon)

on tonight .... unless it's being bought for .... I ain't drinking. I'm supposed to go out tonight which will make tomorrow all the more fun workin 11-9 ... it'll be a red alert night I've been told, but I got backup incase all falls apart ... the Angels are having their reunion tour, since princess is going to FUCKING New York tomorrow (insert bitterness here)
